A 175mm carpenters bevel for laying out angles and complex joints in good condition. The body is of brass and ebony. Ebony is an ultra-dense, dark-coloured hardwood. Famous for its jet-black appearance, mirror-like polish finish, and extreme heaviness (it sinks in water).
