Specifications: Length: 47 inches Height: 18.5 inches Face Width: 7 inches Traditional Peter Wright wrought-iron body with forge-welded steel face clean face for its age Classic long horn and wide flared base — typical of the largest PW industrial anvils Two hardy/pritchel holes No cracks, no weld repairs Stands solid and true History & Rarity: Peter Wright anvils were hand-forged in England during the 19th and early 20th century. Standard weights were 1–3 cwt. Anything above 5 cwt is extremely scarce — these were made for shipyards, heavy industrial smithing, and locomotive works.
