Celtic Stickmarkers Workshop 14th March

After the amazing turnout in November The Celtic Stickmakers Club are holding another workshop on Saturday 14th March 2026, 10am - 2pm upstairs in The Carpentry Store featuring the skills of carving, jointing, stick bending and pyrography. Come along and find out more about this wonderful country craft. Entry is €5.00 and includes Tea & Coffee. At this workshop Celtic Stickmakers Club would like to give people the opportunity to create their own stick by providing shanks and heads, and under the supervision of experienced Stickmakers put them all together and leave with a new perspective on this craft. So, what better time to attend a stickmaking workshop and get inspired. All are welcome. Founded in 2006, the Celtic Stickmakers Club now has over 50 members from throughout the island of Ireland, and is growing all the time and is dedicated to promoting traditional stickmaking and to sharing skills, ideas and techniques to those beginning and experienced stickmakers alike.
