Dean Smith & Grace centre lathe for sale. Very solid, high-quality British-built machine, well known for precision and durability. Lathe Details: 13” swing (max turning diameter) 30” between centres (max turning length) Geared head with full screwcutting gearbox (metric & imperial threads) Power feed and threading Original controls and dials Coolant system fitted It is currently disconnected as I needed the floor space and is now stored in my garage. It was having a starting issue before being disconnected, but this was not investigated. Extras Included: 4-jaw chuck Steady rest I have owned this machine for nearly 30 years. It originally came from the Cadbury’s factory in England. As I am a cabinetmaker, it was only used occasionally for light work, so it has seen very little use during my ownership.
