Product Description The Double Acting Hydraulic Sheargrab Ram 22 in x 90 ID x 50 mm is a heavy-duty hydraulic cylinder designed for agricultural shear grab applications where powered movement is required in both directions. Built for reliable opening and closing action, it uses pressurised oil on both sides of the piston to deliver controlled movement with equal precision during operation. This type of ram is particularly suited to shear grabs and similar attachments where smooth, dependable hydraulic performance is essential. Because it is double acting, it provides positive force both when extending and retracting, helping give better control of the grab during loading and handling work. With a 90mm barrel inner diameter, 50mm rod and 363mm stroke, this ram is built for demanding agricultural use. It is rated to a working pressure of 180 bar, with a maximum pressure of 250 bar, and uses 3/8-inch BSP ports. The unit is supplied in a self-colour finish and is designed as a practical replacement ram for repair, servicing and attachment maintenance. Genfitt also notes that all double-action rams in this range can be converted to single-action with the use of adaptor G17544, giving additional flexibility where required.
