Festool Planer HL 850 E Includes SE-HL Bench Mount

As all Festool equipment is, this is a high-end, precision tool. I bought it to use in my woodworking business, but my work flow changed soon after and it has only had very light use, especially in recent years. The planer comes with all factory accessories including a parallel guide and rebating depth guide packed in a Systainer along with the manuals. The included cutter head with replaceable blade cuts on a bias and provides a smooth cut. There are several optional heads available which do rustic or scalloped cuts which I never purchased. Also included in this sale is the Festool SE-HL stationary bench mount which allows the tool to be used clamped to a bench upside down as a stationary tool, just like a standard jointer where you pass the material over the top of the mount table. Included with this mount is an adjustable angle fence allowing beveled angles. This bench mount appears to be no longer available from Festool, but I found it very handy for some uses. This is a very versatile tool with great dust collection available from either side of the machine, when attached to a vacuum. It is in almost new condition, but I'm no longer doing the type of work which justifies keeping it in my shop. For someone who needs to be able to work on job sites and can't rely on stationary shop equipment always, this is a great tool combination.
