Jorns Long Folding Machine for folding Sheet Metal I have operated this machine from new. It is a very capable and reliable machine made by Jorns of Switzerland who are known to be at the very top of their game. It is capable of folding 1.2mm in steel and 2mm in aluminium. The machine has a 1m insertion depth and four backstops which are adjustable. (there is an option to add more, but we never needed to.) The machine also has a slitter installed for slitting sheets along the full length of the machine to desired width. This is all controlled from the CNC. The machine was manufactured in 2010. It has the Jorns CNC50 control system which can be programmed with 100 different programs. The machine is very easy on power as all folding movements are hydraulicly driven. Overall the machine is in extremely good condition and can be seen operating until Mid January. Machine comes with safety light curtains. Machine will be ready for collection middle/end of January.
