Laguna 16-32 Drum Sander – 230V Selling my Laguna 16-32 drum sander. The machine hasn’t had a lot of use and is in very good overall condition. Please note that the variable speed dial for the feeder/conveyor belt needs to be replaced. Apart from this, the machine is in great working order. It is mounted on a sturdy floor stand with castor wheels, making it easy to move around the workshop. Specification: • 230V single phase • 1.1kW (1.5HP) motor • 406mm (16”) sanding capacity in a single pass • Up to 812mm (32”) sanding capacity using two passes • Sanding thickness: 0.8–75mm • Variable conveyor feed speed: 0–3m/min • 1,400rpm drum speed • Built-in digital thickness readout • INTELLISAND automatic feed technology • 100mm dust extraction outlet • Open-ended drum design • Floor stand mounted on castor wheels A very capable drum sander, ideal for furniture making, cabinet work, tabletops, doors and general woodworking. The open-ended design allows wider panels up to approximately 812mm to be sanded in two passes. Metabo SPA 1200 dust extractor also available as an optional extra. It’s a good match for the Laguna and can be included with the sander for an agreed price if required. Selling as the equipment simply isn’t getting enough use.
