Viceroy Woodturning Lathe. It has a three phase motor but is fitted with a variable frequency drive so it runs on 240v. It has variable speed with forward and reverse. This lathe is in perfect working order and signs of wear on some of the paint This is a classic lathe built in England. The bed is made from heavy duty close grain cast iron. You can turn 36 inches between centers. It has a 6 inch swing over the bed and the outboard has a 10 inch swing. This lathe came from Long Kesh (the Maze prison) The stamp on the tail stock is stamped H. M. P. M. Her majesty's prison maze.
