Now into their 54th year M Large is one of the leading providers of forestry equipment in UK & Ireland We have an opening for an additional Mechanic/plant fitter to service and repair our own and customers equipment. Job description • Working in a modern fully equipped workshop with some on site repairs. • Duties: Working as part of a team or individually • Carry out maintenance and repairs to a range of forestry, construction/agricultural machinery, and commercial vehicles. • Repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in the equipment. • Maintain the highest standards of safety in all work and operations. • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all maintenance, repairs, and service activities. • Maintain a clean and tidy work environment. Applicant requirements • Previous experience in the repair of plant and equipment and or commercial vehicles • Good all-round mechanical skills. • Knowledge of electrics, electronics, and hydraulics. • A valid driving licence, HGV a distinct advantage • Welding skills, fabrication an advantage Working hours Mon-Fri 7.30am-4pm with overtime available.
