The OPTIdrill DH 40CT is a heavy-duty pillar gear drill with a large cross table, designed for accurate drilling, tapping and workshop applications. Its solid cast construction provides excellent stability, while the ground gearwheels running in an oil bath ensure smooth and reliable operation. The machine offers a wide speed range from 95 to 3,200 rpm and is powered by a high-quality two-stage industrial motor. The large, precision-machined cross table is operated by three handwheels and includes an integrated longitudinal scale and adjustable end stops for accurate positioning. Both the gear head and table are height-adjustable, while the table guides can be precisely set using adjustable wedge strips. The solid, precision-finished base plate can also be used as a work surface for tall workpieces when the cross table is swivelled away. Additional features include forward and reverse rotation, an adjustable drilling depth stop and a thread-cutting function.
