Scrub Plane by Stanley

The scrub plane is used to prepare rough sawn wood. It has a specially profiled blade that acts like a very shallow gouge and produces an attractive textured surface on the wood as Paul Sellers shows in the video below. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6D0GESB-meA I have modified the blade and the mouth of this Stanley handyman plane and its working as a scrub plane very well.
