Scrub Plane by Stanley

The scrub plane is used to prepare rough sawn wood. It has a specially profiled blade that acts like a very shallow gouge and produces an attractive textured surface on the wood as Paul Sellers shows in his youtube video I have modified the blade and the mouth of this Stanley Handyman plane and its working as a scrub plane very well.
