Description
Singer 29K Series Hand-Cranked Leather Patcher – Beautifully Restored – Ready to Work A superb example of the legendary Singer 29K series patcher, recently restored using a combination of new and original Singer parts. This machine runs exceptionally smoothly and is ready to sew from day one. Perfect for leatherworkers, saddlers, cobblers, bag makers, and anyone who appreciates quality vintage machinery. Features: Beautifully restored and mechanically excellent. Hand-cranked flywheel operates effortlessly with excellent control. Easily sews two layers of 4 mm vegetable-tanned leather. Adjustable stitch length from 4 mm to 9 mm. Fitted with a new needle. Works best with #69 and #92 thread. Includes needle threader, sewing machine oil, and two spools of thread. Optional flat work table for larger projects. Optional treadle attachment if preferred, though the hand crank is wonderfully smooth and responsive. These Singer patchers are famous for their narrow arm and rotating presser foot, making them ideal for repairing boots, shoes, bags, holsters, harnesses, and other awkward leather goods that conventional machines simply can't reach. The machine stitches beautifully and is ready to go straight into the workshop. Feel free to message with any questions or to arrange a viewing. A rare opportunity to own a fully working, sympathetically restored Singer 29K that's ready for many more decades of service.
