Tractor Processor

The HYPRO 450 XL is a powerful and versatile tractor processor designed for a wide range of forestry work, from regular thinning through to handling larger timber. It has a maximum opening of 45cm and can delimb timber from approximately 5cm up to 40cm in diameter. A high-speed hydraulic saw provides fast, clean cutting, while the machine’s own hydraulic system helps deliver strong performance without relying entirely on the tractor’s hydraulics. A double articulated joint allows the processor to work sideways from the tractor, helping keep processed timber clear of the wheel tracks and making it easier to sort different assortments directly into separate piles. The integrated hydraulic winch provides up to 2,000kg of pulling force and is operated by radio control. The 450 XL is also fitted with HYPRO’s MD430-D measuring computer with length and diameter measurement, log recording and programmable timber assortments. Optional automatic cross-cutting and a 4m or 6m feed crane can further increase productivity, making the 450 XL a strong all-round choice for contractors and woodland owners looking for capacity, flexibility and low operating costs.
