Universal pillar gear drill OPTIdrill DH 40G

The OPTIdrill DH 40G is a heavy-duty universal pillar gear drill designed for precise and reliable workshop use. Its solid cast construction and thick-walled cast-iron column provide excellent stability and high power absorption, while the polished gear wheels running in an oil bath ensure smooth and quiet operation. The machine is equipped with a two-stage industrial electric motor and offers 12 selectable speeds ranging from 95 to 3,200 rpm. It also features a tapping function, adjustable drilling depth stop and a coupling that allows quick switching between manual coarse feed and precise fine feed. Both the gear head and drilling table can be adjusted in height. The large, solid drilling table is precision-machined with diagonal T-slots, a surrounding coolant channel and reinforced ribbing underneath for added strength. A height-adjustable feed guard with a safety micro-switch provides increased operator protection. The solid, precision-machined base plate can also be used as a work surface for tall workpieces when the drilling table is swivelled out of the way.
