Viceroy Woodturning Lathe

This is a Viceroy lathe in great condition and perfect working order. It has a three phase 1hp motor but fitted with a variable frequency drive so it can run from 240 volt power. It is variable speed motor with forward and reverse. It comes with a Oneway Stronghold chuck and a Oneway revolving live center. Also included is an assortment of 15 chisels , bowl gouges, roughing gouges, spindle gouges, scrapers , parting tools and skew chisels. This lathe will do a 10 inch bowl over the bed and up to 20 inch capability outboard turning. The lathe has a bit of history as it came out of The Maze Prison (Long Kesh) in Northern Ireland as can be seen stamped in the tailstock H M P M. Her Majesties Prison Maze.
