Vintage Record No 4 1/2 wide sole smoothing plane

This is a beautiful Vintage Record No 4 1/2 wide sole Smoothing Plane in super condition. The body is really clean, the sole is perfectly flat and square. The handle and tote are original rosewood. The iron is razor sharp, set and ready to work. The Record No 4 1/2 plane is a smoothing plane, used for finishing and smoothing wood surfaces, especially larger or wider pieces. These Planes date back as far as 1931. Check out my other Vintage tools I have. I'll have a few more tools in the next few days.
