Powrmatic ErP OUH oil fired unit heaters can be supplied in axial fan freeblowing format, to be installed directly into the space to be heated, or with centrifugal fan for ducted applications. Heaters are generally arranged for on/off operation however they may also be specified with high/low heat output. Freeblowing models are fitted with axial fan sets and discharge warmed air directly into the heated space via adjustable louvred horizontal grilles. Centrifugal fan models are fitted with a centrifugal fan close-coupled directly to the heater casing. The range has been designed for use in factory or warehouse premises where oil firing is a requirement and floor space is at a premium. Efficiency and ErP Compliance From 1st January 2018 all warm air heaters used to provide comfort for the occupants of a heated space are required to meet minimum standards of ‘seasonal’ efficiency as determined by the Ecodesign regulation (EU) 2015/1188, Directive 2009/125/EC - Lot 21 Tier 1. Compliance to the standard is mandatory. OUH heaters placed on the market after 1st January 2018 comply with the requirements of the standard.
