It is being sold as a restoration/rebuild project as I have recently bought another tractor and need the space. This is a genuine vintage tractor with a lot of potential. It has a very strong, sound engine and starts first time on the button. It comes with new front tyres and the tax book (registration certificate) is present. The Good: · Engine is sound and runs well. · Starts first time with a button. · New front tyres. · Tax book included (Reg: 82KY598). · Complete structural base for a restoration. · Hydraulic lift holds its position perfectly when raised (indicating the internal seals are likely okay). The Work Needed · Needs a complete overhaul. · Brakes require work. · Clutch requires work. · Front dash/instrument cluster is missing. The wiring is exposed and will need to be sorted out. · Hydraulic lift is slow to raise. It holds the load perfectly once up. I suspect this is due to a clogged filter, old oil, a diverter valve issue, or a tired pump, rather than blown seals. However, I haven't investigated it further and have priced it with this unknown in mind. · Bodywork is rough and will need sanding and painting. Summary: This is an ideal winter project for someone who wants a rewarding rebuild. Because the engine is so reliable, the hard mechanical work is mostly done.
