Meath Farm Machinery was established in 1979 by Peter Timmons. In 2017, Ian Timmons took over the reigns as Managing Director. Ian started with the company in 1989 and through hard work and determination helped build the business along-side his father. Since taking over in 2017, the business has grown from strength to strength.

We are the main John Deere dealer for Meath, Kildare, Dublin, Louth and Westmeath. Since 1979, we have been catering for the machinery needs of the farming community from our main depot in Kilberry, Navan Co. Meath. As our business has grown, in February 2006 Meath Farm Machinery expanded into Cavan where we currently have a depot in Poles, Dublin Road. Our Cavan branch has looked after customers in the Cavan, Monaghan and their surrounding areas since opening and in January 2014 we became the appointed dealer for the Longford and Leitrim areas also. In 2023, we became the appointed dealer for Louth and opened our third depot in Dundalk.

We currently have a team of over 50 staff members between our three depots. We pride ourselves in employing young people from our local areas and investing in them to turn them into highly skilled professionals. As our business has grown it has also allowed us to offer our staff career progression within the business.

We have a fully equipped service department and extensive parts department. From the largest Combine Harvester to the smallest spare part, our specialised team are here to help. Our service department have an out of hours service, they are on call to help you out at any time day or night.

We supply an extensive range of new and used machinery. We sell tractors from 30 to 600 horsepower, Combine Harvesters, Self-Propelled Forage Harvesters, Mowers, Balers, Lawnmowers, and various other grounds care equipment. We also sell Kramer Loaders and Telehandlers, ploughs, Harrows, Sprayers, Slurry Tanks and much more.
