Hartnett Products is a family-run business based in Donoughmore, Co Cork selling high quality log splitters (electric, petrol and tractor powered), log saws (electric, petrol and tractor powered), a full range of single axle and twin axle trailers, builders trailers, agri trailers, car transporters, solid fuel stoves, kindling machines and more. Our aim is to offer high-quality products at affordable, realistic prices. Our products are manufactured under our personal supervision and are tested rigorously throughout the manufacturing process to ensure reliability and customer satisfaction.  You are more than welcome to visit our display room and test a log splitter or log saw for yourself.

With over 20 years of experience in the machinery business, our team offers a full back up service and all products come with a 12 month warranty. We also have our own workshop and provide a full back up and repair service.

We offer delivery throughout Ireland and the UK.

Top quality product. Sound to deal with on the phone and in person. Quickly dealt with an aftersales issue I had with a side light due to a badly placed cable tie.
Although the trailer could do with something to restrict it from tipping all the way up.....what's the point of a ramp if it lies flat on the ground..... also not too keen on the household electrical fittings used on the wiring, it works perfectly fine but looks meh.. all in all very happy

Excellent service and products. Great sales team and service team. Calm, relaxed and super obliging. Made sure everything was 100% before I left. I purchased an 8 x 5 single axle Harnett trailer - amazing quality with lots of extras. The best price in the country for such quality. Brought it 200km on a mixture back roads and motorway. Easy tow and extremely well balanced.

Great selection of trailers and wood choppers, splitters etc. Friendly and knowledgeable staff plus the scenery makes a visit worth while on its own 👍🏻

Bought the 12 ton petrol splitter in Feb.
Never got a dispatch notification from hartnett,courier then didn't give notification of delivery and left at side of the road while no one was home..
Unit was suppose to come with hydraulic oil but I'd to top up by 2ltrs.
Eu 2 handed operation was impossible to use so had to change to single handle obviously voiding warranty.
Couple of bolts missing for the attachments and the easy to move around wheels are not that easy more awkward then anything.
20sec cycle time is slow but I'm use to 3-4 seconds so might not be that slow for most..
Machine itself seems well built / easy to start engine that runs pretty well,splits pretty much anything,no table is a disaster.
All round the splitter is good value for the money but if like me you have a lot to split then I'd say buy the 16ton with table etc
