Junior Cycle Science Grinds

Hi! I’m a qualified and accredited Medical Scientist offering Junior Cycle grinds to students who want to improve both their understanding of the subject and their approach to studying it. I hold a 2.1 Bachelor’s degree in Medical Science and have two years of professional experience working as a Medical Scientist. I am currently studying Graduate Entry Medicine, giving me a strong academic and practical background across biology and the medical sciences. My grinds will focus on more than simply learning material by heart. I aim to help students: Develop a genuine understanding of key biological concepts. Build effective study and revision skills Break difficult topics down into clear, manageable explanations Improve confidence when approaching Biology Develop study techniques that can also be applied across other subjects I am also fluent in Irish, so I am happy to support students who are studying through Irish or who would feel more comfortable having concepts explained in either Irish or English. Lessons will be tailored to the individual student, with a friendly and supportive approach focused on understanding the material rather than relying solely on memorisation.
