Hi, It's time to say goodbye to my lovely Sunbeam. The bike was manufactured in 1916 as a General Service (GS) model for delivery to the army. After the war the bike was registered in London, the original registration number is still available to be returned to use on this bike in the UK or NI. (Currently it is on an Irish plate). The bike was restored by Mr Peter Ashen some years ago and the standard of finish is second to none. The quality of the work undertaken and the level of detail and standard of original parts led to this bike winning the prestigious Feridax Trophy in 2010 at the Banbury Run. I have accumulated some history regarding the previous ownership of this bike but drew a blank when it came to its service in the Great War. During my ownership I have used and minded this precious piece of motoring history. The only repair it has required in the last 8 years is having the Magneto rebuilt. The bike is in Ireland but can be carefully crated for shipping world wide at the buyers expense.
Please don't call and ask me how much I want for it.
Bike is open to sensible offers after doing your own research on its value.
