☘️This bike has been registered from new in 1972 in N Ireland and as such is VRT EXEMPT 👍🏻 1972 Norton Commando 750cc Lightweight Special, period Doherty levers, Dunstall sets, Dunstall fairings & unique seat, very sought after (and expensive) Dresda 8 leading link front hub, Borrani alloy rims and alloy tank. Lightened, balanced and tuned engine, lightweight clutch plates, alloy front mudguard. Built like this from new, N Ireland bike from new. Refurbished engine, new valves, guides, Amal Premiers, electronic ignition and serviced. Very powerful, smooth running engine, no oil leaks. Matching numbers bike. Never raced competitively, comes with original V5c and history file. Unique opportunity to own this unique slice of Norton history, well known in the N Ireland area. Bike has recently undergone cosmetics with hubs being cerakoted, new stainless spokes, bearings, new Dunlop TT100 tyres, alloy polishing of levers, Dresda hub, engine casings etc, new fork seals and oil, and engine service, so once finished I will post up finished photographs.
