Vehicle Overview
Description
This 1989 Suzuki GSXR250RR has been my personal bike for the last seven years, and I’ll genuinely be sad to see it go. In that time I’ve only covered around 800km on it, so realistically it deserves to go to someone who will use and enjoy it more than I have been able to. The bike was originally imported from Japan by us at Retro Bikes Dublin and has had just one owner in Ireland since import. Without question, it is one of the most genuine GSXR250RRs in the country and is in exceptional condition throughout. The bike retains its original plastics and virtually all of its original parts. The only non-original item is the rear muffler. I also had the rear wheel refinished as the original paint was beginning to show its age. Aside from that, the bike remains exactly as it left the factory. It has always been carefully maintained, even while stored, and has spent its entire life in Ireland kept indoors in heated, dry storage. The condition of the bike and the complete lack of corrosion throughout are a testament to how well it has been looked after. These late-80s and early-90s 250cc inline-four bikes are becoming increasingly collectible, and the GSXR250RR is probably the rarest of the Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki and Suzuki offerings from that era. I have never seen another RR model for sale in Ireland. The earlier single-R variants appear occasionally, but the double-R is exceptionally rare. The bike has been priced fairly and I will not be taking offers. I have advertised it honestly with detailed photos, visible imperfections, and videos of the bike running, so I will not be entertaining time wasters. If you are looking for an authentic, low-mileage, highly original GSXR250RR, I do not believe you will find a better example in Ireland. If interested, please call or email. Thanks, Michael

I had an amazing experience dealing with Alan at Retro Bikes Dublin. The process for my trade-in was seamless, and I was thrilled to collect my new bike in absolutely immaculate condition. Alan’s depth of knowledge is honestly insane; he took the time to explain everything and answered every single question I had with ease. This is 5-star customer service at its finest. If you’re looking for a bike, I highly recommend checking them out!

My son purchased his first motorcycle here and to say he is happy is an understatement. Fantastic experience from start to finish . RetroBikes will be first on list when he is trading up after he passes his test.
