Bridgestone BS175, also known as the 175 "Dual Twin," vintage Japanese motorcycle produced during the 1960s. Key Specifications & Features • Engine: 177cc parallel-twin, two-stroke engine equipped with rotary-disc intake valves. • Power Output: Around 20 horsepower, giving it performance comparable to larger 250cc machines of its era. • Induction & Oil: Features dual rotary valves, dual carburetors, and a Bridgestone oil injection system that removes the need to pre-mix fuel. • Transmission: A unique 4-speed or convertible dual-mode "Sport Shift" gearbox allowing a standard pattern or a rotary shift configuration. • Chassis: Tubular steel frame, chrome-plated cylinder bores (pioneered by Bridgestone for superior heat dissipation), hydraulic front forks, and dual rear shock absorbers.
