IZH Jupiter 3 1976

1976 Jupiter 3, Russian 350 twin, 2 stroke, made in the same factory that made the Kalishnikov AK 47 rifle. Bike has had a total strip down and rebuild, all bearings and seals replaced in engine and gearbox, big-ends, mains etc. Pistons in standard bores, not rebored and no wear, new electrics throughout with new loom, battery etc. all charging, all parts painted, new carburettor, tyres, brakes, chains sprockets are good and the fully enclosed rear chain is a work of art. Huge amount of time and work put into the rebuild, everything had to be spot on resulting in a most reliable bike that has completed several vintage runs this year with no problems. It is not a fast bike but built as a very tough no nonsense rugged machine that is easy to start and quite comfortable. I had no problem getting parts and they were very inexpensive. Unfortunately age, health problems and the fact that I have 3 other bikes is my reason for selling, bike is taxed and registered in my name. This bike won a prize in the Leopardstown Show last year.
