Suzuki RGV 250 VJ21 Barn Find 1988

HERE IS A NICE EXAMPLE OF THE RARE AND POPULAR SUZUKI RGV 250 VJ 21 MODEL FROM LATE 1988 ONE OF THE FIRST BEING A JAPANESE MODEL FINISHED IN THE SUZUKI HB RACING COLOURS OF YELLOW AND WHITE The Bike came to Ireland many years ago and was Never registered or used on the roads over here and lay unused in a Dry Shed The previous owner got the bike and decided that he wanted to be different and had the bike painted Professionally by a motorcycle paint shop in Scotland in the Yellow and white livery OF the Suzuki HB Race Team Colours it now presents itself. All the Original Suzuki panels were used at that time. He then also painted the wheels and fitted New tyres, chain and sprockets and brake pads and the bike then remained Dormant for years. I recently aquired the bike from him as due to an injury he can no longer kick start a motorcycle so he relunctantly decided to leave someone else Bring it back to life. I have started to recommision the bike with the carbs cleaned, The power valves stripped cleaned and re ftitted. I replaced the battery, Air filter, spark plugs and the Fuel tap and the Bike is now Starting and Running and it will be Up to the New owner so Bring it to the next levet of which they will use the bike or Just place it in a Collection or man cave. The bike is only showing 4800 kilometres But I can Not Guarantee this as I did not import it or know its Previous History in Japan. Also it was never registered here in Ireland and the paperwork was Mis placed but it Can be registered as a Barn Find with a Dating Letter or Certificate from a Vintage motorcycle Club which is Supplied along with A full receipt Also i know of someone with a frame and Old Brown logbook which he will sell lPLEASE REALISE THAT THE BIKE HAS STOOD FOR AROUND 15 YEARS AND IS 37 YEARS OLD AND NOT A NEW BIKE BUT STILL PRESENTS WELL AND WOULD NOT BE OUT OF PLACE IN A COLLECTION OR MAN CAVE.
