Triumph Other 1978

I'm selling this for a friend who is now 87years young and the bike is now too heavy for him to ride. (He is an ex engineer from the RAF) Its an original bike apart from the upgrades with no expense spared. Bike is priced to sell so those of you who are in the know... Know its well worth it.It also advertised on ebay.co.uk...The price is firm and wiggle room free.. Its been well maintained and kept in a heated room when not in use. The bike was prepared for a trip from Land's End to John o' Groats but Covid put an end to that and with subsequence health issues (broken ankle) its had very little use since. The bike is not mint but Its in lovely condition for a 45+year old machine. Just over 15000 miles from new. Electric start and tri spark electronic ignition fitted by Shropshire Classic motorcycles in UK. Cost 2750 Sterling +fitting +transport.which works very well indeed. 1st touch of the button and it starts. In last 1500 miles its been fitted with : 2 new Amal carbs, new front and rear tyre, New alternator, new podtronic regulator/ rectifier New hydraulic clutch, new rear chain. Remote oil filter, Morgo oil pump,upgraded front master cylinder with lots of other new bits and bobs to many to mention. There is a small dent on the tank..See pic. Everything works as it should except the front brake light switch but a new one complete with all the pipework is supplied. Engine is solid and leak free and pulls like it should. Some of the original parts comes with the bike along with lots of reciepts,old mots and manuals.
