Yamaha AS3 125 Barn Find Original 1973

HERE IS A RARE FIND ESPECIALLY IN THIS ORIGINAL STATE A YAMAHA AS3 125 TWIN 1973 THE PRE DECESSOR TO THE RD 125 WHICH CAME IN 1974 IT HAS COME FROM A PRIVATE COLLECTION AFTER THE OWNER HAS PAST AWAY. It was last MOT tested in Germany in 1997 and Not in full time use since but stored away in a Good Dry Barn since, The bike is Totally Original and standard with Matching Numbers and is in Good General condition .The bike has 29000 kilometres/20000 miles. The carbs were cleaned ,fresh fuel and a New Battery and it fired up on second kick and is running well and selecting gears and driving BUT IT WILL NEED A GOOD MECHANICAL CHECK OVER AND SERVICE BEFORE USE AGAIN. All the electrics and lights are working and it still has the Original Yamaha Key. The bike is a Blank canvas for the New owner to bring it to whatever level they wish The tank is spotlessly clean on the inside and Original paint. Like all bikes it does Look Better in the pictures So please appreciate it is 52 years old and not a New one so expect some age related patina. As stated it has come from a Deceased estate in Europe so the paperwork except the last MOT certificate from 1997 was not available but with a Dating letter from a Vintage Club or the VJMC you can register the bike here FREE of charge as it is Vintage over 30 years.If this does not fit with you then you will need to wait for the next one to turn up in the future .
