Yamaha AS3 125 Twin PROJECT 1971

HERE IS A VERY RARE FIND THE POPULAR YAMAHA AS3 125 TWIN 1971 WHICH BROUGHT SO MANY YOUNG RIDERS TO WORK BACK IN THE 1070'S AND 1980'S AND NOW ARE VERY HARD TO FIND, This bike is a European import that someone back in the Day spent a fortune having the paint parts of the bike done in Chrome to be different and to Stand out I am sure The bike has Been Stood for many years but the Chrome work and General condition is reasonable for a 55 year old bike. It is Matching Numbers but the kick start shaft is damaged and will need to be Replaced but the Engine is turning over. AS STATED THIS IS A PROJECT BIKE THAT WILL A GOOD GOING OVER BEFORE BRINGING IT BACK TO LIFE AGAIN SO PLEASE DO NOT EXPECT TO BE DOING A RUN NEXT WEEKEND BUT THINK OF THE LONG WINTER NIGHTS THAT ARE COMING. Alternatively you could just leave as It Is and use it as a Nice talking point in the Man cave/Shed. If you Do Not understand what a Project is or entails then you will probably Need to increase your Budget to between €4000 to €5000 for a Restored Example The Bike comes with Swiss paperwork and will need to be Registered when up and running so again if you Do not want to do this then please wait for the next one .
