HERE IS PROBABLY THE RAREST COLOUR YAMAHA DT 175 MX AVAILABLE IN CHAPPY RED FOR 2 YEARS ONLY AS MOST WERE THE USUAL WHITE OR BLACK. THIS BIKE IS TOTALLY ORIGINAL UNRESTORED 1979 MODEL WITH THE NICER TUBULAR REAR SWINGING ARM ETC. THIS BIKE WOULD SUIT A COLLECTER AS YOU WILL NOT FIND ANOTHER RED ONE THAT EASILY OVER HERE OR ABROAD. The Bike has come from a Dry European climate Hence it still Remains in its Original Condition after 47 years Un painted or Restored. It is Matching Numbers engine and frame and has 32000 kilometres/20000 miles. The Previous owner was a Mechanic and Rebuilt the engine replacing all necessary bearings and seals and also fitted New clutch plates last winter. i t has Great compression and is running and riding well. It has a Fresh set of Tyres and I fitted a New Battery,Air filter and spark plug. It remains in Excellant Condition for a 47 year Old Un restored bike BUT DO NOT EXPECT A NEW BIKE AND PLEASE DO NOT COMPARE THIS WITH PAINTED AND RESTORED EXAMPLES AS THEY ARE ONLY ORIGINAL ONCE LIKE MOST COLLECTERS WANT The inside of the tank is like New and all the Electrics are working. The bike is currently running on Pre mix in the petrol tank which is safer in my mind but the 2 stroke pump will be included in the sale and could be re in stated if the new owner wants to do this.
