Yamaha QT 50 Yamahopper

Vintage Yamaha QT50 Yamahopper 49cc two-stroke moped, believed to be from the 1980s. An unusual little classic Yamaha, ideal for a restoration project or someone looking for a vintage moped to get running. Largely complete as pictured, with original yellow paintwork, engine, wheels, mudguards, headlight and rear luggage rack. Seat is missing. The bike has been sitting unused for a number of years and is currently not running. The piston is partially seized but does move back and forth a little. I previously had a go at freeing it and cleaning the carburettor, but never got around to finishing the job. There is surface rust and corrosion throughout, as visible in the photographs. It will need mechanical attention and recommissioning. No registration paperwork available. I originally intended to get it running for a bit of fun, but have several other projects on the go and could do with clearing some space. Sold as seen, for restoration or spares. Located in Dublin. Collection only. €450 ONO – sensible offers considered.
