Description

Here is a very charming and well known Austin 7 within Austin 7 circles in great condition but more importantly very good mechanically for regular use or longer trips. Very long term ownership ( early'80's to 2024) and it has the honour of having completed the Lands End to John O Groats endurance drive. Was completely dismantled from a "Tatty but solid car" to fully dismantled body and chassis, see photos, to the last nut and bolt with photographic evidence provided. All running gear, including engine, was completely stripped and rebuilt. Original leather seating and door cards where saved and look wonderful today. Has working sunroof, opening hinged windscreen and excellent dash with all working gauges and just the right amount of patina as with the rest of the car. Paintwork all good with zero rust or bubbles. Chrome work is all very good and has 5 brand new matching tyres. As this was a very well used and travelled seven it has flashing indicators with the front flashers being discretely incorporated to the wing mounted sidelights. The headlamps being converted to having side light plus the addition of LED bulbs which will give excellent vision should one be out on the road at night. I will be glad to forward additional images upon request of any particular areas of this 7 if requested. Starts on the button and running well. Price is £6250 ono. Also selling my 1950 Jaguar Mk V 3.5 Full documented history from new. First owner kept it for 48 years, all but 4 being spent in Australia. This car is immaculate inside and out with all mechanical work done and fully documented including a complete engine rebuild a few years ago. I drove it from Armagh to Malahide Dublin in May past without any issues whatsoever and picked up a prize from a show of high quality classics. Several box files of history plus substantial original Jaguar parts book, workshop manual and owners handbook. Complete tool tray in boot door. £31000 ovno No VAT
