Engine and Gearbox The car is fitted with a 2.4-litre Mercedes-Benz OM616 diesel engine. Work has reportedly been carried out on the engine, including the replacement of seals, work on the timing system and other maintenance intended to ensure its proper operation. Before being installed in the car, the engine was successfully started outside the vehicle. The engine and gearbox are now installed in the car. However, the vehicle is currently not running. Following installation, it became apparent that the oil filter housing configuration differs between engine versions. The existing arrangement does not fit perfectly, and modifications to the bracket or mounting may be required to position the oil filter housing correctly.
