The black interior is excellent given the cars age and an Alpine radio and accessory basket have been fitted at some stage in the car’s recent life. Being a ’71 model, the car has a 1.6 engine that performs beautifully thanks to a complete rebuild less than 1,500 miles ago. Together with the revised independent rear suspension of the later model cars, we’d even go as far as to say this is the best driving Karmann Ghia we’ve ever had.
