1987 VW Golf Mk2 - 1.6 GTD

Purchased almost 7 years ago after being stored in a shed for approximately 16 years. Since then, the car has undergone a full overhaul and restoration. This has been a much-loved example and has always been exceptionally well cared for. Work carried out includes: • Professionally fitted 1.6 GTD engine conversion • Coilover suspension • New bumpers, lights, and grille • Full respray The car has just passed its NCT, valid until June 2026, which will be its final test due to vehicle age exemption. Mileage: 102,142 miles The car drives very well, pulls strongly through the gears, and is a very clean example throughout. It always attracts attention wherever it goes. The interior is original and, while presentable, would benefit from some work. This has been a much-loved and adored car, with plenty spent on it over the years.
