1989 Porsche 944 S2 Cabriolet

Find us at deanemotors.ie The S2 944, with its 3.0 engine, Turbo styling and revised gearbox, is the jewel in the 944 line up. The release of the S2 also saw the introduction of the 944 Cabriolet, and this 1989 example is in stunning condition and is very well sorted. The bodywork and Alpine White paintwork are excellent, while the electric soft top is in perfect condition. The stunning upgraded 18” split rim alloys are pristine, also. The black leather interior, with its part-electric seats, has very few signs of age and retains a period correct JVC stereo. Most noteworthy about the S2, however, is its unique 3.0 4-cylinder engine (the largest produced at the time) which is a more powerful evolution of the 2.5 found in the 944 S. The engine has covered just 84k miles and the car drives beautifully, thanks in part to a set of upgraded adjustable Koni dampers fiited at great expense. The car has a good service history and has recently just had a full service and new timing belt and water pump fitted by Bryan Kane. 944 S2 Cabriolets are a rare sight on Irish roads and this is an attractive and well maintained example. **Viewing strictly by appointment.
