Find us at deanemotors.ie Although never originally supplied to the Irish market, the second-gen Toyota Hilux Surf has been a comforting sight on Irish roads since the ‘90s. This remarkable 1994 example is a high spec SSR-X Limited in exceptional condition with a verified 121k kilometers on the clock. Having survived in near original spec with just 1 owner in Japan, this Surf is a recent Grade 4/B import with no rust that scores excellently in all areas. The bodywork is razor sharp and all of the trim, with the exception of the original decals, presents in excellent condition. Unsurprisingly, the interior is of the same impeccable standard. The spec includes electric windows all around, electric sunroof and, probably our favourite feature, an electric rear windscreen that retracts into the rear door to enable access. All of the trim is in incredible condition given the car’s age and the only non-standard item is a recently fitted Kenwood radio. Known for their tough, bulletproof reliability, this Hilux Surf boasts the legendary 3.0 1KZ-TE diesel engine and has been spec’d with an automatic gearbox. Reassuringly, the car is complete with a full service history from Japan, and since arriving in Ireland has had a service plus a power steering pump and CV boot fitted.
