Description

Back when Toyota’s idea of excitement involved a turbocharger, four-wheel drive and a bonnet that looked like it meant business. This stunning JDM Celica GT-Four ST205 is finished in rare dark metallic green and has covered approximately 74,000 miles. Largely stock and exceptionally well preserved, it’s a lovely example of a car that’s increasingly difficult to find without a shopping list of modifications. Under that bonnet sits the legendary 3S-GTE turbocharged engine, producing 255 PS in Japanese specification, paired with a five-speed manual gearbox and permanent four-wheel drive. It drives extremely well, with a tight, solid feel that makes you want to take the long way home. Preferably somewhere with a few bends. The history file is unusually comprehensive, containing previous V5Cs, MOT records and numerous invoices. With just three former UK keepers, including two long-term female owners, it has clearly enjoyed some settled ownership. A subsequent elderly owner kept it in a dehumidified garage—a considerably better living arrangement than most of us have. There’s substantial documented expenditure too, including a timing belt replacement in 2024, a replacement clutch and major work to the Super Strut suspension. Proper money spent on the important bits, with invoices to back it up. Condition is a real highlight. The underside is excellent, while the remarkably well-preserved interior retains its original character. It’s the sort of cabin that reminds you just how well Toyota screwed these things together. One particularly unusual feature is the genuine Toyota front and rear parking sensor system, a very rare period option/accessory. Someone clearly wanted rally-car performance without rally-car parking. A few sensible additions make it easier to enjoy today: Pioneer Apple CarPlay, DAB radio, a reversing camera and professionally installed upgraded speakers, complete with the supporting invoice. A beautifully preserved, largely stock GT-Four with low mileage, an excellent history file and the maintenance to match. For anyone who remembers wanting one in the ’90s, this is unlikely to help you get over it.

I bought my first Classic Pajero from Simon recently. From my first interaction with Simon to delivery I had a very pleasant experience. When viewing the vehicle, I took my time and Simon let me take as long as I wanted and he was there in the background to answer any questions I had. I felt very comfortable throughout the viewing. Due to my personal circumstances, the purchase took a little longer than usual, and Simon was very understanding about this. I came away with a beautiful Pajero and felt confident and extremely happy with my purchase. I can’t speak highly enough of Simon and his team. Finally I’d just like to say, I’m not a collector or dealer, I just turned 50 and decided to treat myself, so if you are thinking of your first classic car, I can highly recommend Deane Motors and Simon.

Simon is an absolute gent, I was stuck for a way to get out to the dealership and he picked me up from Dublin City centre (now that was him being sound, don’t expect him to do that for you too!) but the whole way out I got to learn alot about life and business from him! A very genuine man, absolutely does not fit the stereotype of a sleazy salesman trying to rip you off! He’s genuinely prioritising a great customer experience for you over squeezing any bit of extra cash out of you! They’ve a serious collection of motors on offer there too! I highly highly recommend 🫡

I recently sold my Ferrari thru Simon and I was truely impressed. Simon was very professional and kept me updated thru out the sale process. Everything on the sale was transparent and there were no hassles. All payments to me were made promptly. Thanks very much Simon and all the best in your business. Kind Regards Anba S
