2004 Daihatsu Boon / Toyota Passo 1.0 Auto - Rare JDM Project Very rare Japanese import Daihatsu Boon (Toyota Passo twin). 151,000 km 1.0 petrol (Toyota 3-cylinder) Automatic (column shift) No tax No NCT It starts first turn but stalls when put into Drive at idle, so it will need to be trailered away. It will move for loading purposes. Parts already fitted new spark plugs, idle valve and MAP sensor with no change. Bodywork needs TLC. There is surface corrosion in some places but it's not as bad as the photos make it look. A treatmemt was put on the body surface rust, which has darkened it. The important thing is the inner wheel arches, which are the usual killer on these Japanese imports. They're solid and in good shape as shown in the photos. Good points: Very rare car, you won't see another Boon. Common Toyota 1KR-FE engine used in the Yaris, so mechanical parts are easy to get. Good JDM alloy wheels. Original Boon embroidered floor mats. Touchscreen double DIN radio with reverse camera. Electric windows all round. Interior is in good condition and will clean up well. Battery is flat from sitting, so it starts with a jump pack. Would suit someone looking for an unusual JDM project, a cheap runabout to save, or a donor for a Daihatsu Sirion/Passo. Good opportunity to learn light bodywork, and get and unusual motor for cars&coffee meets. Trailer required. No swaps.
