Chrysler Newport/part exchange

Chrysler Newport 1964 . 5.9 v8 four door sedan. A Detroit assembled car originally introduced as a long distance cruiser back in its day. This model is an automatic with dash mounted button shift. Finished in navy blue with light blue carpets and interior trim. All buttons and dials are period correct and still retain the chrome finish which is still in perfect condition. The dash itself is a lovely feature on the car. The interior seats are original and again are in good condition considering the age of the car. The headlining is perfect which is a common issue with these car due to sagging and tears . All doors and boot lock with factory Chrysler logo keys. The large chrome bumpers are perfect and polish up really well as does the rest of the chrome trim including the front grill , headlight bezels and inserts . Mechanically the car can not be faulted and starts first turn of the key, the automatic box changes up and down smoothly with no unwanted clunks or noises. Fitted with an upgraded exhaust system the car sounds absolutely fantastic from the v8 motor. Well maintained by a an American car enthusiast who has kept it well serviced and looked after. An ideal weekend cruiser or car meets and shows this car will definitely turn heads wherever it goes (if only for the sound alone) .A four door cruiser with room for kid and passengers and ready to drive. Being a1964 car there still a little room for improvement mostly cleaning and detailing and little bits, but definitely a solid rot free car with excellent underbody , arches, sills , boot floor, pockets ect solid. €56 road tax, nct exempt and classic insurance.
