DRIVE THE LAKE 2023

DRIVE THE LAKE APRIL 16th 2023 Drive Ireland presents, Drive the Lake. Think of this as the start of the summer! Our third time running this event and it’s one we really look forward to every year! The morning starts at Dromineer Beach, along the edges of Lough Derg. Those who have been to this event in the last few years will know the location but if you’re new, just pop Dromineer Beach into Google Maps! We meet at 8am on Sunday April 16th. The drive leaves Dromineer at 8.30am and heads through Ballina & Killaloe (it’s inevitable we will probably get split up at this stage due to the traffic lights on the bridge) to our coffee location. West Lake Coffee at Twomilegate (@westlakecoffee) West Lake Coffee is a great spot for all you coffee lovers, with a range of coffees on offer as well as sundaes, ice creams, pastries. The guys will be open from 8.30am so you will get to have your morning coffee, have a chat and enjoy the cars on show. From there.. we continue along the lakeside drive to a small little harbour called Williamstown Harbour (just beyond Whitegate). A beautiful location to park up and talk about the morning drive. Like all our events, it doesn’t matter what you drive, it doesn’t matter what it’s worth, or if it’s high, low, big, small. All that matters is you respect all car enthusiasts.
