Fiat 500 1965

Original Italian left hand drive Irish registered 1965 Fiat 500 restoration project from Florence for sale. Be buzzing around for the summer living La Dolce Vita! Yes this little baby was first registered in Florence in 1965 - and I have the original Florentine log book - and as a consequence the sheetmetal is in amazing condition. Almost like new! We aren’t sure when it made its way to Ireland but was driven around for a few decades before being taken off the road by the previous owners to start a full restoration. I have continued the restoration but have run out of steam due to the house needing more (and urgent!) work than anticipated, so something has to go and unfortunately it is the Bambino. Comes with all the parts needed to complete (it was originally a running car and everything has been meticulously catalogued when disassembled); interior, glass, electrics, cables etc and comes with a shop manual and some Fiat 500 history books. The fiat 500 is in mid blue with a red interior. I have a choice of 3 red interiors; dark red, red and white checked cloth and bright red with the white tops to the seats. The original is I believe the red and white checked cloth. The engine runs – please see the video. And I understand the gearbox was rebuilt and possibly the brakes – but I haven’t opened them up to verify this. The Fiat 500 is upside down on a pallet with castors for ease of working; I have been bare metaling the front floorpan and the wheelarches and painting them all in epoxy primer. It will fit inside a full size van – two or three people can manouver it into the van for collection.
