Ford Cortina Mk3 1600GT

1972 Ford Cortina 1600GT - GT on log book (and on original UK log book), not a replica! - 1.6 Pinto Engine - Slope Dash Model with 4-clock centre pod - Original GT "tombstone" seats Work done in my ownership includes: - Brand new Weber 32/36 auto choke carb (only just fitted) - Brand new brake calipers - Brand new drilled and grooved discs - Brand new brake pads - Brand new ball joints - Replaced steering rack, rack bushes, and rubber steering column coupler/doughnut - Brand new side mirrors x 2 - Brand new gearshift gaiter - Brand new mats x 4 - 5 x refurbed and powder-coated 4-spoke laser wheels with 4 x brand new tyres (done since these pics were taken) - Brand new period-correct wiper arms and blades The car was re-sprayed in 2-pack about 10 years ago and the finish has held up very well. Being 54 years old, the car is not perfect, but is a good survivor, and is the rare (and desirable) GT model. It'll need a patch on the driver's side chassis rail. The clutch is currently stuck to the flywheel, and so the car cannot currently be driven. A brand new, still-in-the-box LUK 3-piece clutch kit is included in the sale. I just don't have the time/space/resources to do the job myself, so the car will need to be trailered/towed away. I'll put more pics up as soon as I can take them!
