Ford Cougar 2000 - Very Low Miles - 35,000!

Very low milage Ford Cougar with only 35,000 genuine miles on the clock, this totally original car was owned by a lady in London from new. It was regularly serviced until 2014 when it appears the car was no longer used and parked up. It was sold at auction in 2024, imported into the Republic of Ireland in early 2025 and I've owned it since then. It's in very good condition all round, the body has some age related marks but no crash damage, the paintwork is good with just a few small blemishes. The underside is in good overall condition, it hasn't suffered from years of salt on UK roads and is quite clean. There is a small rust bubble on the passenger side sill when you open the door, but this is the only bit I can find. Mechanically the car is excellent, it starts first time on the key and runs very smooth, the engine is sharp and responsive and cruises along at motorway speeds with ease. The suspension is excellent, the car feels tight and gear changes are precise, it feels like a new car to drive. The interior is in excellent condition and shows very little wear. One notable exception is a small hole in the drivers bolster from wear from getting in and out, there is some colour fading on the top of the rear seat headrest area. Everything works as it should, the only item that needs attention is the air con which needs re-gassing. It's a car you can drive every day as I do, a very usable classic car. I'm selling because I have other project cars and I don't have the room to keep it which is a shame as I really enjoy driving this car. It comes with the original manual and service book, 3 keys including a remote fob key, standard back up key and a spare and uncut fob key.
