Ford Escort RS 2000 MK 2 PROJECT CAR LHD 1979

PLEASE REALISE THAT THIS CAR IS A COMPLETE RESTORATION PROJECT THAT IS GOING TO NEED ALOT MORE THAN A WEEKENDS WORK AND IS MORE SUITED TO SOMEONE THAT CAN DO THE WORK THEMSELVES SO PLEASE BARE THIS IN MIND. The car is a Ford Escort RS 2000 Mark 2 Custom 1979 Originally Red built and remained in Germany Hence Left Hand Drive which is an easy conversion as the main dash panel is available locally along with all the metal work/repair panels that will be needed. The car had Been partially stripped for the Restoration with the engine removed and the nosecone and wings removed and are just roughly attached The head was removed from the engine for a re fresh but the engine is turning and is fitted with the RS aluminium sump and the Original RS exhaust manifold and Weber carburettor and Airbox . It has the Original 4 speed gearbox with the RS alloy bell housing and the RS rear axle It has RS fishnet Custom Front seats which will need to be re covered but are Sound.It is showing 150000 kilometres on the RS dash clocks The rear arches and rear lower panel were replaced but the right rear arch picked up a dent NOW TO THE NEGATIVE POINTS THE CAR HAS NOT BEEN RESTORED AND IS A 46 YEAR OLD FORD SO IT WILL NEED ALOT OF WELDING AND PANEL REPAIRS TO INCLUDE Floor pans X 4,Both sills,Left hand rear spare wheel well,Left hand middle chassis repair, Left hand door pillar,front right hand Valence The wings are not Great and the left hand door which i have a replacement if needed. A GOOD RS 2000 IS €40 TO €50 K AND WITH THIS CAR YOU WILL KNOW EXACTLY WHAT YOU HAVE WHEN IT IS FINISHED UNLIKE WHAT SOMEONE ELSE MIGHT HAVE HIDDEN. IT'S €5500 CHEAPER THAN THE NEXT EXAMPLE AND IT DOES NOT HAVE A GLASS SUNROOF.
