Ford Other 1956

For sale a buckler mk 6, known as the beacon special. registered 1956. this uses a tubular chassis using mainly ford prefect running gear. The chassis has been blasted and painted using professionel rust inhibiting paints. the suspension and brakes have all been rebuilt. Originally this car had a microplas mistral fibreglass body fitted. these bodies are still available new today. the project comes with most of the parts to build a 100e ford engine for it ,including twin su carbs and aquaplane exhaust manifold, there is also a 100e gearbox with it. While most mk 6 bucklers had an aluminium body and the ford engine and box, this car was fitted with the mistral body and mg running gear according to buckler records. accordingly I also have an mg x pag engine and gearbox which i can supply by seperate deal if someone wants to go that way. The heavy hard work is done as in the chassis is rolling with everything done on it. The car is situated in southern ireland close to Dublin. collection is at buyers expense.
