Fully rebuilt Triumph Stag Engine 3 Litre V8

Please read carefully: Engine alone 5000 euros. Engine and car (to fit yourself) 11000 euros. Many other parts available additionally eg Carburettors. Hardtop. Low mileage engine. Fully rebuilt as a hobby by and engineer. Zero miles since rebuild. The Engine has been fully chemically cleaned, the heads never needed any skimming and have been decoked check pics (checked by Welham Motor Company Leicester) so are original. Pistons were sound they are original (G) and in very good condition the block had no visible faults and apart from a half pound of gunk which was removed upon cleaning was put back together with new oil pump seals and mesh. The oil filter housing was recon and new filter and seals fitted, I had new German Timing chains fitted with original timing tensioners (cannot get them now). Every single nut and bolt has been either changed or refitted after cleaning, the carbs have been recon and the water pump checked (6 vane). It comes with a recon started motor still boxed, back plate for a manual gearbox, Manual Fly wheel, new engine mountings and new Viscous fan and coupling. The engine has been built to a very high standard using only the best gaskets etc, the power steering pump has been used on my Stag and I am still trying to find the Luminance electronic ignition for the distributor, I think it is about £100 .00 to buy new apart from this the Engine is complete. I don’t mind any test or any checking for interested parties I have taken pics of the build from start to finish showing the crank pistons bore head timing gear etc which I will post ASAP, I have put a few for you to look at but will keep adding. 2.
